I was at the Detroit weekend, which was February 6-8. There were 16 of us at the weekend. We had 10 from Michigan, 1 from Indiana, 5 from Ohio. We were able to talk to 126 people (I think) on Saturday, and out of those we had 5 prospects. Which was really cool. We left information at 246 houses (I think) were no on was home or they were busy. It was a ton of fun. I was so glad that I was able to go. We had 8 guitars there. And we shared those 8 between just about all of us that were learning to play or that know how to play. So that was really cool. I was glad that I was able to go, and the nice thing is that it was my first OAFC event since November of last year because I was unable to go to New Years because I was in Florida with my family and then was also unable to go to the Training Event in Stevensville. I am looking forward to the Freemont weekend, February 27-29, the Midland weekend, March 5-7, and a weekend in Bremen, IN which I am looking forward to. I am hoping to make it to all of them, but dont know if I will be able to or not. Whitney

I have found the dates out for the Bremen weekend. It is March 19-21. I also have a few other dates for weekends in either Michigan or Indiana that I am going to put on here, in case any of you are intersted in going to any of them or if you are from indiana or illinois, and of course from michigan. There is a weekend in Charlotte, MI at First Lutheran on April 23-25. A weekend in Stevensville, MI at Christ Lutheran on May 21-23. A weekend in Holland, MI at Christ Our Savior Lutheran on August 13-15. A weekend in Valparaiso, IN at Prince of Peace Lutheran on September 10-12. A weekend in Caledonia, MI (my church) at St. Paul Lutheran on November 12-14. Whitney

I was at the Fremont, MI weekend which was February 27-29. There were 2 or so people there. It was a ton of fun, as all of the weekends are. We were kind of dissappointed because we like having prospects and we did not have any at all. But of course the pastor was excited about that. But it was not to suprising being the fact that there are like 26 to 29 churches in Fremont. So we were not to suprised that there was not any. I dont remember right off how many people we talked to or how many houses we left information at. Also on February 29 I was able to go out canvissing with the Travel Team. They were going canvissing in Grand Rapids. I was able to help them out with that, which was also fun. For that we did the Sunday School Survey, and if the people would let us we would do the full Survey. But my team for that we talked to 5 people and we had 2 houses that sounded interested in it that were prospects. Johanna, we missed you. We also missed anyone else that has been at past Michigan Weekends that was not able to make it there. And we look forward to seeing those that missed it again soon. Whitney

For those that are going to the Bremen, IN Weekend. Have fun. I wish I could be there, but saddly I have something going Saturday morning and am not going to be able to make it. I would love to be there because of the fact that I want to be able to see all of you that I have not seen in a while and also because I want to be able to hang out with all of you and be able to share God's word with other people. But for those are are going enjoy it, have fun and I will be praying for you. I will also miss being there and being a part of it. ~Whitney~

Just wondering. Did anyone go to the OAFC Weekend in Bremen, IN? If so how was it and how many people were there. I really wish I had been there, but of course had something going on Saturday morning, so I was not able to go. I look forward to hearing about how it was. ~Whitney~

Were any of you planning on going to the Charlotte Weekend this weekend, until it got postponed. I was and then we had 2 options as to what we could do. Either go to the Ohio Weekend if there was enough people or get together for a little thing Friday night. But there was enough people so they went down to the Ohio weekend. But I was unable to because my parents would not let me go. ~Whitney

Just wondering. Were any of you at the OAFC Weekend in Stevensville, which was May 21 - 23. I was unable to be there because I was not going to make my parents drive me down there with the weather that we were supposed to be getting that night. I am hoping/ planning on being at the June Weekend in Indiana.

I was at the OAFC Weekend in Coloma, MI. It was a ton of fun. There were 17 people there, we trained 4 new people. We talked to 89 people and there were 102 people that were not home. We had 3 prospects out of the 89 people that we talked to. We also had 20 ablaze, which is really pretty cool. ~ Whitney ~
