Here is the hymnlet (?) I wrote on the spur of the moment (in 20 minutes) for the circuit pastors' winkle when I discovered our regular musician couldn't be there and my 13 year old daughter volunteered to play (and that required ALL hymns have simple tunes and harmonies; so Old 100th came to mind). LW216 was also the closing hymn, thus the numbering. Since it was written in haste, it could use some tweaking. Feel free to do so and use it however. Opening Hymn: Luther's Morning Prayer tune #216 I thank You, Father, through the Son, Who has for me salvation won; Lord, You have kept me safe this night From harm and danger; by Your might. Keep me this day, too, from all sin; Lord, let no evil now begin. Let all I do and say in this day Please You in faith in every way. Into Your hands I do commend my soul and body without end. Let holy angels guard my life; The wicked Foe cause me no strife. Amen
