I wrote this a few years ago and it has been modified several times since then; and I forgot to post it earlier this week. While any "LM" tune can be used, our musicians this week will be using "On Jordan's Bank" (Puer Nobis). The first verse is terrible, and has been stricken. I also have another one that is stronger "anti-catholic/mary-bashing" because it calls Mary a sinner ("my spirit rejoices in God WHO IS my Savior...") (as opposed to this version which says He for MY sins shall be out-poured) but I can't find it now and I have to move on to other things

Magnificat

My soul now magnifies the Lord

His  mercy  is  on  those  who  fear,

The  proud  He  scatters  in  their  rage.

He  casts  the  mighty  from  their  reign
And  raises  tho-se  of  poverty
To  hungry  souls  He  gives  His  grain
The  rich  depart  in  scarcity.

He  helped  His  servant,  Israel;
